^{Gen 1:5} And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

וַיִּקְרָא אֱלֹהִים ׀ לָאוֹר יוֹם וְלַחֹשֶׁךְ קָרָא לָיְלָה וַיְהִי־ עֶרֶב וַיְהִי־ בֹקֶר יוֹם אֶחָד פ

^{Gen 1:10} And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good.

וַיִּקְרָא אֱלֹהִים ׀ לַיַּבָּשָׁה אֶרֶץ וּלְמִקְוֵה הַמַּיִם קָרָא יַמִּים וַיַּרְא אֱלֹהִים כִּי־ טוֹ

^{Gen 1:21} And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

וַיִּבְרָא אֱלֹהִים אֶת־ הַתַּנִּינִם הַגְּדֹלִים וְאֵת כָּל־ נֶפֶשׁ הַחַיָּה ׀ הָרֹמֶשֶׂת אֲשֶׁר שָׁרְצוּ הַמַּיִם לְמִינֵהֶם וְאֵת כָּל־ עוֹף כָּנָף לְמִינֵהוּ וַיַּרְא אֱלֹהִים כִּי־ טוֹ

^{Gen 1:27} So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

וַיִּבְרָא אֱלֹהִים ׀ אֶת־ הָאָדָם בְּצַלְמוֹ בְּצֶלֶם אֱלֹהִים בָּרָא אֹתוֹ זָכָר וּנְקֵבָה בָּרָא אֹתָם

^{Gen 1:29} And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.

וַיֹּאמֶר אֱלֹהִים הִנֵּה נָתַתִּי לָכֶם אֶת־ כָּל־ עֵשֶׂב ׀ זֹרֵעַ זֶרַע אֲשֶׁר עַל־ פְּנֵי כָל־ הָאָרֶץ וְאֶת־ כָּל־ הָעֵץ אֲשֶׁר־ בּוֹ פְרִי־ עֵץ זֹרֵעַ זָרַע לָכֶם יִהְיֶה לְאָכְלָ

^{Gen 1:30} And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.

וּלְכָל־ חַיַּת הָאָרֶץ וּלְכָל־ עוֹף הַשָּׁמַיִם וּלְכֹל ׀ רוֹמֵשׂ עַל־ הָאָרֶץ אֲשֶׁר־ בּוֹ נֶפֶשׁ חַיָּה אֶת־ כָּל־ יֶרֶק עֵשֶׂב לְאָכְלָה וַיְהִי־ כֵ

^{Gen 2:5} And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground.

וְכֹל ׀ שִׂיחַ הַשָּׂדֶה טֶרֶם יִהְיֶה בָאָרֶץ וְכָל־ עֵשֶׂב הַשָּׂדֶה טֶרֶם יִצְמָח כִּי לֹא הִמְטִיר יְהוָה אֱלֹהִים עַל־ הָאָרֶץ וְאָדָם אַיִן לַעֲבֹד אֶת־ הָאֲדָמָ

^{Gen 2:21} And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;

וַיַּפֵּל יְהוָה אֱלֹהִים ׀ תַּרְדֵּמָה עַל־ הָאָדָם וַיִּישָׁן וַיִּקַּח אַחַת מִצַּלְעֹתָיו וַיִּסְגֹּר בָּשָׂר תַּחְתֶּנָּה

^{Gen 2:22} And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.

וַיִּבֶן יְהוָה אֱלֹהִים ׀ אֶת־ הַצֵּלָע אֲשֶׁר־ לָקַח מִן־ הָאָדָם לְאִשָּׁה וַיְבִאֶהָ אֶל־ הָאָדָ

^{Gen 3:14} And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:

וַיֹּאמֶר יְהֹוָה אֱלֹהִים ׀ אֶל־ הַנָּחָשׁ כִּי עָשִׂיתָ זֹּאת אָרוּר אַתָּה מִכָּל־ הַבְּהֵמָה וּמִכֹּל חַיַּת הַשָּׂדֶה עַל־ גְּחֹנְךָ תֵלֵךְ וְעָפָר תֹּאכַל כָּל־ יְמֵי חַיֶּיךָ

^{Gen 3:15} And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

וְאֵיבָה ׀ אָשִׁית בֵּינְךָ וּבֵין הָאִשָּׁה וּבֵין זַרְעֲךָ וּבֵין זַרְעָהּ הוּא יְשׁוּפְךָ רֹאשׁ וְאַתָּה תְּשׁוּפֶנּוּ עָקֵב ס

^{Gen 3:22} And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:

^{Gen 3:22} And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:

וַיֹּאמֶר ׀ יְהוָה אֱלֹהִים הֵן הָאָדָם הָיָה כְּאַחַד מִמֶּנּוּ לָדַעַת טוֹב וָרָע וְעַתָּה ׀ פֶּן־ יִשְׁלַח יָדוֹ וְלָקַח גַּם מֵעֵץ הַחַיִּים וְאָכַל וָחַי לְעֹלָ

^{Gen 6:16} A window shalt thou make to the ark, and in a cubit shalt thou finish it above; and the door of the ark shalt thou set in the side thereof; with lower, second, and third stories shalt thou make it.

צֹהַר ׀ תַּעֲשֶׂה לַתֵּבָה וְאֶל־ אַמָּה תְּכַלֶנָּה מִלְמַעְלָה וּפֶתַח הַתֵּבָה בְּצִדָּהּ תָּשִׂים תַּחְתִּיִּם שְׁנִיִּם וּשְׁלִשִׁים תַּעֲשֶׂהָ

^{Gen 7:2} Of every clean beast thou shalt take to thee by sevens, the male and his female: and of beasts that are not clean by two, the male and his female.

מִכֹּל ׀ הַבְּהֵמָה הַטְּהוֹרָה תִּקַּח־ לְךָ שִׁבְעָה שִׁבְעָה אִישׁ וְאִשְׁתּוֹ וּמִן־ הַבְּהֵמָה אֲשֶׁר לֹא טְהֹרָה הִוא שְׁנַיִם אִישׁ וְאִשְׁתּוֹ

^{Gen 7:21} And all flesh died that moved upon the earth, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of beast, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth, and every man:

וַיִּגְוַע כָּל־ בָּשָׂר ׀ הָרֹמֵשׂ עַל־ הָאָרֶץ בָּעוֹף וּבַבְּהֵמָה וּבַחַיָּה וּבְכָל־ הַשֶּׁרֶץ הַשֹּׁרֵץ עַל־ הָאָרֶץ וְכֹל הָאָדָ

^{Gen 7:23} And every living substance was destroyed which was upon the face of the ground, both man, and cattle, and the creeping things, and the fowl of the heaven; and they were destroyed from the earth: and Noah only remained alive, and they that were with him in the ark.

וַיִּמַח אֶת־ כָּל־ הַיְקוּם ׀ אֲשֶׁר ׀ עַל־ פְּנֵי הָאֲדָמָה מֵאָדָם עַד־ בְּהֵמָה עַד־ רֶמֶשׂ וְעַד־ עוֹף הַשָּׁמַיִם וַיִּמָּחוּ מִן־ הָאָרֶץ וַיִשָּׁאֶר אַךְ־ נֹחַ וַאֲשֶׁר אִתּוֹ בַּתֵּבָ

^{Gen 7:23} And every living substance was destroyed which was upon the face of the ground, both man, and cattle, and the creeping things, and the fowl of the heaven; and they were destroyed from the earth: and Noah only remained alive, and they that were with him in the ark.

וַיִּמַח אֶת־ כָּל־ הַיְקוּם ׀ אֲשֶׁר ׀ עַל־ פְּנֵי הָאֲדָמָה מֵאָדָם עַד־ בְּהֵמָה עַד־ רֶמֶשׂ וְעַד־ עוֹף הַשָּׁמַיִם וַיִּמָּחוּ מִן־ הָאָרֶץ וַיִשָּׁאֶר אַךְ־ נֹחַ וַאֲשֶׁר אִתּוֹ בַּתֵּבָ

^{Gen 8:20} And Noah builded an altar unto the LORD; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar.

וַיִּבֶן נֹחַ מִזְבֵּחַ לַיהוָה וַיִּקַּח מִכֹּל ׀ הַבְּהֵמָה הַטְּהוֹרָה וּמִכֹּל הָעוֹף הַטָּהֹר וַיַּעַל עֹלֹת בַּמִּזְבֵּח

^{Gen 11:4} And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.

וַיֹּאמְרוּ הָבָה ׀ נִבְנֶה־ לָּנוּ עִיר וּמִגְדָּל וְרֹאשׁוֹ בַשָּׁמַיִם וְנַעֲשֶׂה־ לָּנוּ שֵׁם פֶּן־ נָפוּץ עַל־ פְּנֵי כָל־ הָאָרֶ

^{Gen 12:17} And the LORD plagued Pharaoh and his house with great plagues because of Sarai Abram's wife.

וַיְנַגַּע יְהוָה ׀ אֶת־ פַּרְעֹה נְגָעִים גְּדֹלִים וְאֶת־ בֵּיתוֹ עַל־ דְּבַר שָׂרַי אֵשֶׁת אַבְרָ

^{Gen 13:10} And Lot lifted up his eyes, and beheld all the plain of Jordan, that it was well watered every where, before the LORD destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, even as the garden of the LORD, like the land of Egypt, as thou comest unto Zoar.

וַיִּשָּׂא־ לוֹט אֶת־ עֵינָיו וַיַּרְא אֶת־ כָּל־ כִּכַּר הַיַּרְדֵּן כִּי כֻלָּהּ מַשְׁקֶה לִפְנֵי ׀ שַׁחֵת יְהוָה אֶת־ סְדֹם וְאֶת־ עֲמֹרָה כְּגַן־ יְהוָה כְּאֶרֶץ מִצְרַיִם בֹּאֲכָה צֹעַ

^{Gen 13:16} And I will make thy seed as the dust of the earth: so that if a man can number the dust of the earth, then shall thy seed also be numbered.

וְשַׂמְתִּי אֶת־ זַרְעֲךָ כַּעֲפַר הָאָרֶץ אֲשֶׁר ׀ אִם־ יוּכַל אִישׁ לִמְנוֹת אֶת־ עֲפַר הָאָרֶץ גַּם־ זַרְעֲךָ יִמָּנֶ

^{Gen 14:2} That these made war with Bera king of Sodom, and with Birsha king of Gomorrah, Shinab king of Admah, and Shemeber king of Zeboiim, and the king of Bela, which is Zoar.

עָשׂוּ מִלְחָמָה אֶת־ בֶּרַע מֶלֶךְ סְדֹם וְאֶת־ בִּרְשַׁע מֶלֶךְ עֲמֹרָה שִׁנְאָב ׀ מֶלֶךְ אַדְמָה וְשֶׁמְאֵבֶר מֶלֶךְ צביים וּמֶלֶךְ בֶּלַע הִיא־ צֹעַ

^{Gen 14:15} And he divided himself against them, he and his servants, by night, and smote them, and pursued them unto Hobah, which is on the left hand of Damascus.

וַיֵּחָלֵק עֲלֵיהֶם ׀ לַיְלָה הוּא וַעֲבָדָיו וַיַּכֵּם וַיִּרְדְּפֵם עַד־ חוֹבָה אֲשֶׁר מִשְּׂמֹאל לְדַמָּשֶׂ
